Kahibah Football Club (Kahibah FC) is a semi-professional football club based in Kahibah in the Hunter Region, New South Wales. Kahibah Football Club was established in 1925 and is known as a local community icon synonymous with the enrichment of local people, young and old, through our football endeavours. We currently have over 650 members in the club and play in various competitions throughout Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and the Hunter Region.

Kahibah Football Club encourages and fosters players of all races, ethnicity, gender, age, ability, and socio-economic background to develop and engage in football at all levels.

Community Football –  HUB

Kahibah FC runs a HUB league for all kids from the ages of U5 through to U7. The HUB is an internal run league where we group kids off in their ages and skill set to play football on a Sunday morning and Wednesday evening. Generally, the kids get to play around 20 games for a season. As the kids are developing their love of the game, we group them together and play an internal league where the kids are encouraged to participate and kick the ball in a game environment. We play on a Sunday morning at the same time every week at the same location to allow parents and grandparents to come and be part of the kid’s enjoyment.

Juniors – play in the MiniRoos Community football competition designed for all kids of all abilities. The competition is arranged by Macquarie Football and caters for ages groups of U8 to U11 boys and girls and uses short, game-based sessions to introduce the sport of football to newcomers in an inclusive way. It focuses on learning new skills, being active, making life-long friends and, potentially, unearthing the next generation of football players.

Community Football – Club Football cater for ages 12 – Over 35 (U12 to O35s). Community football is know as Interdistrict Football, a competitive community competition that allows the teams to play across interdistricts including Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Hunter Valley leagues. Teams are graded and scores recorded to determine season minor premiers and final winners.

The men and women’s leagues (O35 and All Ages) also compete at a social level in this competitive community competition and compete in the O35s Friday night or Saturday competitions.

Girl Team Football – Kahibah FC promotes both mixed and single gender teams and have over the years been able to offer and foster girl teams from U11 through to U18s Interdistrict Competitions.

Junior Development League – JDL was introduced by Northern NSW Football following a comprehensive review of the local Talented Player Pathways. The purpose of the JDL is to provide potentially talented players with the best possible learning environment through a specific Skill Acquisition Program delivered by clubs while competing in NNSWF’s Premier Competitions.

The JDL league is an intensive league that specialises in training and matches of the boys and girls to form a comprehensive pathway to senior premier football.

Premier Youth League – PYL Northern NSW Football was excited in 2023 in the announcement and the decoupling of its youth football from senior football along with the launch of a new youth competition structure for boys.

The NNSWF Premier Youth League has been designed to enhance the talented player pathway, enable more competitive football for young players and facilitate more games of best versus best and like versus like.

The Premier Youth League provides a pathway for football’s talented players to develop and progress from JDL pathway to senior football.

Hit106.9 Northern League One – NL1 – The Hit106.9 Northern League One is Northern NSW Football’s second tier men’s competition. There are 10 teams in the Hit106.9 Northern League One. Each club has a first grade and reserve grade team.
